New Orleans

We left Alachua about 6:30 in the morning and trailered to Vicksburg, MS. Vicksburg is a very neat place. I will return, we were there only for one little of the Natchez Trace. The back roads around Vicksburg, are the kind of roads I am always looking for. Friday day two we arrived at the Degas House, we stayed there for 3 nights. My biggest mistake on this trip, I did not research the web for neat motorcycle roads to ride in New Orleans. I just looked at our map program and picked roads out that I thought would be good. Maybe I did not go far enough. Next time I will be prepared. One thing about New Orleans, there is so much to We did see a lot of damage from the hurricane. I have added links to this site that I have found interesting while making this We did see a lot of damage from the hurricane. I have added links to this site that I have found interesting while making this page. One of the links for the cemetery in New Orleans that we visited shows the grave of the Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, at the time we were there, I had no idea.
Since the trip I have looked on the Internet for more roads. I have found that US Hwy 90, heading south west may have been the road we should have tried. Sounds like a lot of boat ramps, swamp, bridges, and you know they have to have some of those old Cajun restaurants.
